I have to admit, since returning to China, I have been in a bit of a rut. I was happy when we arrived back, but I didn’t make any effort to keep up my fitness levels, and with the cold weather still lurking, I have been far from balanced in the healthy eating department. When those two things go, I usually enter “a rut” which consists of lots of movies, not much moving about or leaving the house, tons of junk food, and obviously, weight gain and a loss of fitness. I knew that I need to get “back in the game”, but I haven’t really had much motivation to do so. In China, I have found that I have to work 2-3 times as hard to keep myself motivated to remain healthy and balanced. Needless to say, I have been feeling rather BLAH! At lunch today, one of my closest friends here actually had the “I’ve been worried about you” chat with me. haha… yes, three weeks without running and eating right and people start to worry!
