This evening Justin’s passport was delivered to us, in Cape Town, and with that, we are ready to go back to Asia. Now that we know we are good to go, we have been able to book our hotel in South Korea, and also our onward flights to China. Before coming to South Africa, we stayed in Korea for about 7 weeks. In that time, Justin and I both worked. It was the middle of a brutally cold winter, and therefore we had a completely different wardrobe then. Coming over to summer meant that we didn’t need those winter clothes, so we left them at a friend’s house to avoid having to move all the baggage with us. On Thursday we will be returning to Korea, and seeing as that it is early spring right now, we will definitely need to change outfits shortly after we arrive.
We are sleeping at a hotel near the airport so that we can pick up our bags, return to the hotel, repack, rest, and then fly to China the following day. We are looking forward to a couple of delicious familiar meals in our two days in Korea. We are already thinking about what we will eat. Of course!
Tomorrow will be our last full day in Cape Town. We will be packing and saying our final goodbyes. While enjoying this last bit of time here, we can’t deny that we are very excited about all of the new adventures and possibilities that lie before us.
