When we visited Texas for 6 months, I looked after twin newborn baby boys. As you can imagine, caring for twins is hard work so I was pleased that my friend (the twins mom) wanted to record all of their feedings, diaper changes and activities in an easy to use app on her iPad. We never had to ask each other who had fed/ changed which twin last, we could just check the app to know what was happening. Even back then, I decided that I would definitely use this app when I had a baby. Two years on, and I finally have a baby of my own. This app perfectly suits my personality because I am very organized and I like to be able to look back at numbers and compare.
Using this app makes a mommy’s life a lot easier!! I know how long Elijah has fed each day, how often, and whether or not he was gassy after a feeding. I also never have to remember which side he needs to feed on – I just check the app. The same goes for diaper changes. When Justin changes him, he enters the diaper info in. When it’s my turn, I do the same. If we need to know anything about how Eli has been, we simply check the app.
We can also record all the medicines, immunization, activities and milestones in this app. This comes in very handy when your days are filled with people, places and things to do, and the weeks seem to fly by.
The computer version of this program is free, but for convenience sake, we paid for the iPhone and iPad versions too. It is $5 for each device that you want to install it on. You can buy those here.
What I love about this app:
*It is very easy to use and there are no complicated functions (initial set up is easy too),
*There is a nice layout and interface/menu options with cute pictures for each category,
*It syncs between all devices thereby making it easy to use whenever you are in your home, or even when out and about,
*Breadtfeeding is made easy because there is a timer and the app records which side you use last,
*There are feeding/ diaper/ mood/ medicine, etc totals for the day, month and year,
*Tables and graphs make comparisons easy (for example, I know that we have already changed 650 diapers, and I have breastfed for almost 180 hours since Elijah was born in June),
*The app links to your phone camera so that you can add special moments to the baby’s daily journal,
*If you are feeding on a schedule, you can set an alarm which will alert you when to feed, and how long to feed for – pretty handy for those nighttime feeds during the first couple of weeks!
*Extra care givers can be added to the account so that if you have a babysitter/ nanny, they can record the baby’s stats and these entries will be under their name. If you are at work or out in a date, you can use your phone to check what the babysitter/ nanny has entered,
*Multiple children can have their own tabs on this app, making it simple to keep track of all of your kiddos as they progress,
*When you are busy, the app really helps with remembering when to check baby’s diaper, why he/ she might be fussing, how baby has been doing for the last few days, and so on.
I could keep going, but you get the picture, this is a great app and we love it!

We highly recommend this app to all our friends who are new parents. It has been extremely useful, and it is definitely worth the $5 to have it on your phone.
