Today we are leaving for Boracay Island in the Philippines. If you have been following us for a while, you will have heard us mention this gorgeous place already. It is nothing short of spectacular, so even though we love to explore as many new cities and countries as we can, this time round we will be heading back to a place that we just can’t seem to get out of our minds. We first visited Boracay in September of 2010, only 3 months after we head met.
Boracay has always been our “honeymoon” spot, and we look forward to reliving our magical experience four years on. This time we will be retuning to the island as a family, and with a couple of friends, and we know that it will be amazing in a completely new way. We have heard that Boracay Island has changed significantly in the last four years, so we are prepared for the fact that it might not have the same feel… but the sand will still be white, the water still crystal clear, and the sunsets breathtaking and heavenly.
There will be lots of downtime on the island so we will try to send out some posts if the wifi situation is good at our hotel. Whatever happens, just know that there will be some incredible posts coming up when we return to China. This will be our first family vacation, and Elijah’s first time out of China. We’ll let you know what travelling is like with a 3 month baby. This will be a whole new experience for us!
