Oh those Facebook pop-ups! You know the one’s where they show you what you were doing two or three years ago. Gosh, I love those! They are such a nice reminder of the sweetest memories. Thank you Facebook! This morning a post from 2014 popped up. Roughly two years ago we took our first Family Vacation. Wanting to do something special, we went to the same place that Justin and I went on our first vacation together. Boracay Island in The Philippines. It sure had changed a bit during the four years between our visits, but on both visits we really enjoyed our time there!
Today, a little flashback to that vacation. Although we did a number of fun activities while we were there as a family, there were also many days of pure relaxation. In fact, that is ALL we did when we went there for the first time (in 2010). The second visit was far more adventurous, and ironically, it was that time that we had a baby with us. That’s right folks – don’t believe everything people tell you! Life doesn’t have to get boring and unadventurous after you start a family.

Watching the Mermaids
Sipping on iced coffees and watching the mermaids learning how to use their tails. We were taking notes so that I could do the same before we left the island. What an amazing experience – check that out here: The Little Mermaid. A dream of mine!
Perfection! We loved our first family vacation.
Thank you for that reminder today Facebook!
