Singapore’s Botanical Gardens – Singapore is one of the only two major cities with a tropical rainforest within its city limits, the other is Tijuca Forest in Rio de Janeiro.
Even the restrooms were surrounded by trees and plants.
The Singapore Botanic Gardens has a small tropical rainforest of around 6 hectares in size,
which is older than the garden itself.
This garden has a collection of more than 1,000 specie and 2,000 hybrids of orchids.
We struggled to explore the botanical gardens in the heat, but we still enjoyed it very much.
Can you tell that we are drenched in sweat?!

The is no fee to enter the gardens, so this is a really wonderful place to come running.
Some monks had come to the gardens too. They had handheld video cameras… funny.
