After dinner we went to a cozy spot nearby – Cafe Bachata – for some after-dinner cocktails. Yes, we probably shouldn’t have been drinking straight after ending a fast, but we took it slow and felt okay.
Things that this juice fast taught us:
As you already know by now, a juice fast can do wonders for your health – Justin and I both feel brighter, sharper, and less burdened after our 15-day fast from solid foods, not to mention that we now know how to create tons of delicious juice combinations while incorporating all the nutrients that we need in one day. What did we learn while juice fasting? We now know one of the things that controls us – FOOD!! We became more aware of our thought patterns, and found areas that needed attention. Not preparing or eating food gave us time to think and create, however I feel that longer fast would facilitate this aspect better. Maybe someday I will attempt a 30 day fast!
FYI – It has been 4 days and we have not picked up any of the lost weight.
In fact, we have continued to lose weight. This is GREAT!!!
