Luckily there was not much to figure out when turning on this crock pot. There are only four simple options — OFF, LOW, HIGH and AUTO. Depending on what time I am starting dinner, I either go with the low or high option. Both work wonderfully.
I am amazed at how easy it is to cook with this thing. I simply throw everything in, add some spices and a bit of water, and then close the pot and walk away. I return every hour or so to check on it. This particular Chicken Thai Yellow Curry filled our house with the most delicious smell. It’s summer here, but with the air-conditioner cranked up we can still enjoy a bowl of curry for dinner without sweating too much. We also have a rice cooker so dinner has been a breeze lately. The hardest part about cooking this way is remembering to start the dinner early enough. It’s wise to start it in the morning and let it cook on slow all day. Cleaning it is no fuss either because the top of the pot comes out to be washed separately – why have I never had one of these??
This pot will be especially handy in the winter when I will probably have it going everyday!
