I attended a friend’s baby shower recently. She is having twins and I will probably be helping her out with the little guys after they arrive. I am very excited about this!!! At the baby shower we all decorated onesies (or “babygrows”, as we would call them in South Africa) for Ryan and Reed who are due in November. Above you can see the onesies that I decorated.
This is Ella. After church we went to an Asian supermarket after lunch at a Korean restaurant. Ella is Korean – Can you tell? With those blue eyes and blonde hair. She’s is gorgeous.
Above, she asked me to take a picture of her with her finger in her nose…
And then she wanted one with MY finger in her nose.
Her American accent makes me melt. I have not been exposed to this very much because we are always around Asian children who are only just beginning to learn English.
We looked at all the fishes. She was fascinated.
Ella and Abi (sisters) looking at live crabs.
I managed to get her to pose in front of this “Lucky Cat”,
but minutes later she was hugging and lifting it.
Lots of kids to keep us entertained! Some here, some still on the way. My cousin, Maxine, is having her baby boy soon. We are off to Utah to spend some time with mommy, daddy and baby.
More on that coming soon!
