What a beautiful sight! Sunset over Darling Harbour, located in Qingdao’s International Marina and Olympic Sailing Center (OSC) just across from Marina City. Justin and I really can’t get enough of sunsets, especially when we are by the seaside. This is one of the reasons that we are very happy that we moved to a coastal city in China. Who would want to miss spectacular sights such as these!
No matter where we are, Justin and I would drop whatever we are doing to take a stroll and watch the sun go down. I’m pretty sure that we will have to retire somewhere near an ocean, so that we can grow old and exuberantly happy doing this every day! On this gorgeous day we wandered along the harbour wall admiring the beautiful sunset over the city skyline, the ocean, and all the pretty boats. It really was a perfect end to a wonderful afternoon spent in each other’s company.
It makes Justin laugh when I simply cannot stop taking pictures of a sunset. One or two pictures would be enough for a normal person, but not me. No… this angle, then that… then I walk a few steps, and then take a few more. It’s almost as though I am so mesmerised by the beautiful colours that I feel I should have tons of pictures to remember it by. When we get home and I offload all fifty slightly different, but essentially the same, pictures – I then ask Justin which ones look better. To this he always has the same response, “They all look great baby” but then he sits and looks though all of them with me. Haha – Thanks for humouring me my love!
