You probably recognise this picture, it is from one of the first few model jobs that Elijah and I did together. This company makes various baby products, and the owner really likes Elijah so they keep calling us back for more jobs. We don’t always get the final pictures, but I spoke to the photographer’s assistant on a recent job and she sent me some these shots from an older job. As you can see, Eli has short hair here and he is chubbier looking. He sure has changed a lot in just a few months. I love his smile in these photos. He really didn’t enjoy being changed from one carrier to the next, but once he was comfortable he posed nicely.
This contraption, in theory, seemed like a good idea. Place into your baby and help support them while they attempt to walk. I have to tell you that Elijah hated this thing more than words can describe. I have NO idea how they got shots of him smiling, but he was not happy. Chinese babies are generally quite chubby, and a lot bigger than Elijah, so this harness didn’t even close tight enough to hold Eli up. As you can see, it slide up under his arms and was probably very uncomfortable.
Not looking too happy.
Time for a nap…
