At the beginning of Fall my friend, Heather, posted a Fall Photo Scavenger Hunt on her blog (the image your see on the left – that’s the list of photos we were on the hunt for). I reposted it, and invited all of you to join us. To those that mailed to say they would… how did it go? Turns out that it’s pretty hard to remember to keep taking and posting the photos. I, for one, didn’t quite have the time to post the photos as I took them, mostly because I try to use my DSLR instead of my iPhone when taking pictures. Especially when Elijah is in the photos.
It has been a very busy season for us. Wow, crazy busy!! And the busy-ness hasn’t ended yet, but since Heather asked for this Photo Hunt to end on November 30th, I wanted to be sure to post by that date. Luckily for me, I get a “day’s grace” since she’s in the States and I’m in China. Yay for the 14 hour time difference. haha! So, here you are Heather… I managed to get all of the Photos, even if some of them are a little bit of a stretch (like the Thanksgiving dinner)! I hope you all enjoyed the Photo Hunt!
A leaf shaped like a heart…
(Wow, that was a tough one! Can you see them falling on the right?)
A warm drink.
Beijing Yogurt. A Beijing speciality, served warm in winter.
My favorite sweater.
I hope this one isn’t too much of a stretch. My favorite sweater this fall has actually been MY SON’S. Not for me, of course, but since I get to dress him, I counted this as “my favorite one”.
Oh my goodness – I barely got dressed up at all this Fall. If the list had called for slippers and PJ’s, I would have nailed this one. I think I actually wore boots this ONE TIME…
A Fall sunset (viewed on a walk home from the beach)
And a Fall Run (next to the coast, before the cold temperatures arrived)
Pumpkins. A Gathering. A Burning Candle.
A Halloween Costume.
Trick-or-Treating (this one is a bit of a stretch since we didn’t actually go out trick-or-treating, but here is Elijah all dressed and ready to fill his jack-o-lantern with candy)
Above, A Fall Baked Good
Oh, so many to choose from! We especially loves the pumpkin rolls you see on the left!
Below, A Fall Soup
(My very tasty Pumpkin Soup… It was a hit!)
My favorite scarf…
A leaf Pile. Fall Veggies (the BEST fall veggie).
A Fall Activity
With the summer humidity so high here, HIKING is the perfect Fall activity…
Sadly we had to travel ON Thanksgiving Day. We sat on a plane, and didn’t even have dinner. The following day we went for a big breakfast at an awesome coffee shop. This was our late, and very non-traditional Thanksgiving meal..
Something warm and cozy…
Snuggling up to daddy in the baby carrier, while wearing THIS hat.
It doesn’t get any more warm and cozy than that!
I think I got them all. I really can’t believe that fall is over and that we are on our way into the last month of the year. Where does the time go? Next up is the best time of the whole year, Christmas! Thanks for the Fall Photo Scavenger Hunt Heather!
