ATP Travel took us canoeing for the afternoon. This was a great experience because we got to paddle around the islands in Halon Bay at our own pace.
The beautiful afternoon weather made our day perfect!
Netted areas for keeping caught fish.
Paddles and life jacket… Ready to go!
We waited in line while all the guests climbed into canoes.
Off we we (with the sun in our eyes)!!
We paddled around for a while, and got a good rhythm going. Justin is way stronger than me, and of course, I got seriously distracted with taking the photographs, so he was working his butt off!!
As you can see in the above picture,
we hit some shallow areas when we got too close to the islands.
Paddling by a local boat.
Up ahead: Cleo and Mark from the Netherlands.
Low Tide. The water was an amazing color!
Justin started getting a bit tired.
I think I was supposed to be paddling as well! (*posing*)
When the tide is not so low this alter/ shine is probably quite easy to get to.
Back to base.
Each time we paddled we got water on our legs.
By the end of the afternoon our legs were soaked!
