Hit The Ground Running
As all of you know, we are back in China. Our incredible Australia-New Zealand trip has come and gone, and we sure do have a lot of stories and pictures to share. We landed in Qingdao on Sunday night, caught a taxi home, got to bed by 11pm, and then started work the next day. Since Monday was the start of the new semester, and traffic can be crazy, Justin left home at 6:30am. I think it is safe to say that we “hit the ground running” after this trip. We are known for vacationing over EVERY SINGLE possible day that we get for our break, and this trip was no different!
There wasn’t much time difference, so we didn’t have any jet-lag, and thankfully, no sicknesses. We are all completely back into our normal routine. It is a little shocking how swiftly we slid back into where we left off a month ago. It sort of feels like we never left…. until I glance down at my tanned skin!
Our trip was amazing!
I’m sure that if you follow us on In stag ram or Facebook, you will agree!
Still lots of Europe to show and tell, and now Australia and New Zealand too, but we will get there eventually. The last 12 months were a pretty big year for traveling — one of our biggest to date. It all started with Bali last February, and since then we have explored 18 countries! The crazy part is that not one of these three recent trip was planned much in advance.
Before Australia and New Zealand I was pumping out blog posts, but I am now taking on more commitments, so I am not quite sure how much time there will be for blogging… but stay tuned, and feel free to send some requests. We can’t wait to share more over the next few months.
It is good to be back!
