Jingshan Park is immediately north of the Forbidden City, in Beijing. Originally, it was an imperial garden, but now it is a public park.
We didn’t plan on visiting Jingshan Park, in fact, we ended up in the park by accident.
We were glad that we did. It was very beautiful.
Paifang (Chinese architectural gate)
The park was beautiful, even in the rain.
The three-story pavilion at the top of one of the peaks at Jingshan.
The rain didn’t stop us climbing up to the top! 🙂
Snack time ~ Bun filled with meat patty
The Forbidden City, viewed from Jingshan Hill to the north.
Admiring the view to the West
We both had flip flops on, and the rain resulted in a very slippery day!!
The Palace moat and the north west corner tower.
