Wow day 3! Today went shockingly well. In fact, my first juice gave me the same energy boost that coffee usually does every morning. It was such a strange feeling! There was a moment when I wondered if I had perhaps drank a cup of coffee without noticing it. I felt so normal today that I had to go look up Day 3 from our first juice fast, and it seems that I felt the same way last time… June 16th, 2013 – “Justin and I are wondering if we are doing this right. We don’t feel like we are detoxing. Neither of us have felt the dreaded “third day effects”. In fact, we feel completely fine… Just bored I guess.” YUP, that pretty much sums up my day except “boredom” has left my being. I am NEVER bored lately. I feel “normal” but since I haven’t been feeling my usual self lately, I guess it’s safe to say that today I felt better than I have been feeling recently. Justin is done with the juice fasting
Breakfast and Snack: 8 carrots, 4 oranges
Lunch and Snack: 10 handfuls of spinach, 1 apple, 1 cucumber, 2 celery stalks, 1 lemon
Dinner: 4 tomatoes, 2 red bell peppers, 2 celery stalks
*Since it is so bitterly cold here at the moment, I made this drink and heated it.
It was amazing – very close to a warm tomato soup! (Pictured above)
Late Snack: 1 Sweet potato, 2 pears, 1 handful blueberries
Effects: Slimy/ furry feeling on my back teeth. Increased energy.
