10am: This morning we made all of our juices for the day. I find that I really enjoy washing, prepping, and then juicing the fruits and veggies. It feels therapeutic. We contemplated meet up with the running group, so we had to prepare all of the juices for day.
12pm: Okay… I’m starting to think about food!!! Energy levels dropping. Fast.
Justin is as cool as a cucumber! haha!
3pm: Both feeling tired and our minds are “foggy”.
Mild headaches coming and going this afternoon, and we both don’t want to do much.
I think we need to take a nap to make the day go by faster. Who ever would have imagined me wishing away a weekend, but I know that once Monday comes we will be on day 4 and feeling more energy.
4pm: Woke up from my nap feeling like my head had been crushed. It literally felt as if someone was squeezing my head, and that it was about to explode! We then had to go to the grocery store to buy our next two days of produce. Making a list became a huge task! The brain fog is getting thicker!!
5pm: Intense sinus pain through my face and into my head!
Walking through the grocery store was a bit torturous. It’s Saturday and all we want to do is get some delicious food and have a couple of drinks. Times like this remind me that our lives are so dependant upon food – preparing it, eating it, tasting it, sharing it, and socialising around it. It almost feels “lonely” to not be eating. I have been here before though, and this will pass. We can do this!
9pm: Feeling pretty good, and hoping that this afternoon was the worst of it.
haha – I am hopeful!! Would that be too easy?
Amazingly enough, we are NOT hungry at all.
Our stomachs have been growling (loudly) for most of today and yesterday,
but it hasn’t been unpleasant at all. Mostly, we have just been aware that we are not eating.
Shortly after waking:
Hot Water with Lemon
Apples, Oranges, Spinach,
Purple Grapes, Blueberries,
Apricot, and Mint
Lunch and Dinner
Carrots, Celery, Orange, Apricots,
We made it through day 2!!
Let’s see what day 3 brings.
