Our little man has changed so much, but at the same time, he’s exactly the same as when he was just a tiny little baby. We sensed his nature even before he was born, and it has been amazing to see just how much he behaves like we thought that he would. When he wants to, he can definitely make a noise, tear down all the books on a shelf, and turn our lounge and kitchen upside down within a matter of minutes, but most of the time, he is a peacefully child who happily plays by himself. I have loved watching him grow over the last 16 months, and I smile knowing that my favorite parts are still coming. I love how he wraps his little arms around my neck, and gives me kisses – I can’t wait for the words, “I love you mommy”. He is such a blessing, and we love him so much.
I’ve been trying to work on my photography skills, specifically with a lens that I don’t often use. I feel like I still have a long way to go, but I’m slowly learning so I guess that’s all that matters. Here are a few pictures of Elijah playing next to one of the shelves in our lounge. He moves his blocks in and out of the box, and up and down the stairs. It’s really cute to watch him. This is Elijah, doing what he does best… Just Playing.
