Kissing the Clients
Eli is pretty good at playing upstairs, in his playroom, when I have a photoshoot taking place at home. I realize that this is not the norm! I am very blessed to have a child that lets me work from home without much interference. There are some occasions where he doesn’t even realize that I am doing a shoot. Most of the time when he does realize that there are people in the apartment, he isn’t too bothered. BUT when there is a baby around: he is fixated! I don’t know when this fascination started, but lately Eli is very interested in little babies.
The way that he behaves around them is just too cute! He climbs up to lay next to them, puts his head really close to theirs, and often softly touches their face. He also brings various toys and lays them next to the baby – sort of like “a friendship offering”. You might remember me mentioning this after Baby Jonathan’s Newborn Shoot in December.
Last week, while baby Autumn was here for a shoot, Elijah came in the bedroom to have a look what we were doing. When he saw the baby, he didn’t want to leave. He snuggled her, touched her face, and then gave her a sweet little kiss on the mouth (pacifier).
