Kung Family Park Shoot. Just before the summer break, I met with the Kung Family to do a family shoot. [You might remember the Sneak Peak to the Kung Family Park Shoot that I sent out in July.] We met in a downtown park and then moved down to a beach close-by for some more pictures. It is no secret that taking pictures of children is not easy. This is especially true for playful toddlers. I know that because I have one of my own, and photographing him has only got more and more difficult as he has grown! This family has three young boys, and like my son, they have no greater wish than TO PLAY! We anticipated the boys – a four year old, and twin three year olds – getting bored, so their mama packed as many forms of excitement as possible.
There were bubbles, books, toys, candy, and snacks. We even found some helium balloons just before the shoot started. Evidently the balloons were a bad idea since one of them caught in a tree and deflated – eeeekkk, toddler drama – but hey, this is all about gaining experience, so I am thankful for this opportunity! Cat is a good friend, and an absolutely amazing mama. Hopefully these pictures bring her lots of joy in years to come!
I absolutely loved capturing these moments. Dad was being silly and the boys were just so entertained. Mom was completely into it too! Although you can’t completely see their faces, the twins were laughing out-loud.
Part two of this shoot will be coming soon!
