… And Angie never got tired of touching my belly either! Every time we are together, she was eager to feel Eli move. Trent and Angie just flew back to the States for their summer vacation. They were set to leave around Eli’s due date, so Angie – like me – was hoping that Baby E would make an appearance earlier rather than later so that they could meet him before they left on vacation.
Ironically, the night before Eli was born, we all went to eat ribs and as we were leaving the restaurant, Angie bent down and whispered, “Now Eli, if you were to come tonight that would make Aunty Angie very happy… so you just hurry up and come out so we can meet you before we leave”.
Who would have known… 12 hours later he was in our arms!!!!
We tried many things to induce labor naturally (we will tell you all about those later), and apparently all Eli needed was a little nudge from Aunty Angie.
