Just after Justin arrived in South Africa, my parents took us to Cape Town’s city centre to have lunch at Café Paparazzi. Located at St. Georges Mall Street, this is a good place to enjoy great food and a friendly atmosphere. This café serves a wide selection of drinks and dishes, showing of various classics from around the world. Sushi, burgers, Italian, breakfast options, sandwiches, salads, seafood, and a mouthwatering selection of cakes and baked goods. Apparently, at night, Café Paparazzi brings out their speakers and treats their guests to a some fine salsa music.

After showing Elijah off to people who had heard, non-stop, about him for months, we sat down at Café Paparazzi to enjoy some delicious food. Justin decided on the Spiced Beef Stir-fry Wraps, served with jalapeños and a wasabi-mayonnaise. And since I had heard such good recommendations on it, I tried the Butternut Salad which consisted of roasted butternut, mixed salad leaves, tomato, cashew nuts, pumpkin seeds, avocado, feta cheese and a nicoise dressing.
My step-mom’s secretary joined us for lunch. She was absolutely dying to hold Elijah and even when our food came to the table, she didn’t want to put him down. I fed him and he slept peacefully in her arms. Everyone that he met on this day was so happy to finally meet the little man who they had heard so much about.
