As most of you know, Justin and I went to a photo studio a few week ago to have a maternity shoot done. Most of the shots were of me and my beautiful big belly, but daddy got to be in a number of them too. Although we received the pictures back already, we have not been able make to the studio to submit our final selection for our maternity album. That’s life in a foreign-speaking country – We need help doing very simple tasks! Since we have already shared one of two of these with you via Facebook and other messages, we thought we would give you a little sneak peak of the two sets that we did during week 33. In a couple of weeks we will have the final edits and our album, and then we will show you some more of our favourites.
If you missed the story that we posted shortly after the photo shoot, you can read about that here: Behind the Scenes: Maternity Shoot. I was very apprehensive about receiving these pictures back because I had seen a few of them on the photographers camera and I did not like them. Justin and Amber, who were behind the scenes the whole time, both said that the pictures looked nice. However feeling as large as I did (and do) I didn’t think that any of them were going to come out nicely. I am relieved to say that I was wrong and I love many of them. Justin, of course, loves all of them. We did two shoots – one with white clothes (or sheets I should say), and the second with me wearing a black dress in front of a darker backdrop. Until baby Eli is born, this is the closest thing that we have to family photos, so of course, we absolutely adore them!
