That look, with his mouth wide open, is Elijah’s happiest of happy faces. He does it often when we are at home with him, but not that much when we are out and about. As I have mentioned in other posts, he is somewhat reserved when we are around people he doesn’t recognise. Often he just stares, straight-faced, and says nothing. It is quite amusing that the minute we get home, he starts babbling, smiling, playing and crawling around. He is very much like the two of us. We are most happy at home, and when we are together, we feel most comfortable and relaxed. Our son has inherited this behavioural gene from both of his parents. When he was a baby, he didn’t like to stay home for more than a couple of days, and we thought that was interesting because we are such home-bodies. Recently, Elijah has become like us… happy as can be at home and around family.
Since I was only able to get a few 9 Month Photos of Elijah, this post contains more, as promised. When he was 7 months old, I took some photos of Justin with Elijah. This month we took a few of little man and I at the Easter Tapas and Craft Party that we went to in Huangdao. His shoes are from Aunty Tarrin, his jacket from Aunty Catherine, and his white onesie from Aunty Heather. Although it looks like he has grown tons, he is still wearing his 4-6 month jeans. No massive growth spurts for this little man lately. Gosh, he’s so cute… We love the faces that he pulls!
