Mt. Luho is a small mountain on Boracay Island. On the summit, the highest point on the island, there is a walkway leading to a viewing tower. From that elevated point, there is a fantastic view of Bulabog Beach, the Fairways and Bluewaters Golf Course and the ocean. It is possible to walk up here from Bulabog Beach (on the north end), but the road is steep so a decent level of fitness and body condition are a must. By mountain bike, it is a nice ride up to the top. [Follow the main road up to where the golf course starts, there is a little sign painted on the first wall of the golf course.] Do not hesitate to ask people for directions, the locals are very friendly and eager to assist. From the D*Mall up to Mt. Luho, it is about 30 minutes by mountain bike. There is also the option of taking a quad bike up the mountain. Since we had a baby with us, we took the easiest option and rented a tricycle to get to the top. The drive is a little bit rough on the tricycles so expect to pay about 150 pesos ($3,50), one way, from D*Mall.
