Do you live or travel abroad? If you are like me you spend most of your time in another country and at the mercy of their restrictions. I have lived in China for the last 2 years, and due to their restrictive government, most of the websites that I look at daily are blocked here. Some examples are Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and another recently added to that group is Google. This blog that we connect and show you our life on is only possible with the use of a VPN.
What is a VPN?
Virtual Private Network – It allows a computer to send and receive data across the internet. Our VPN gives us an IP address located in the US or England, which allows us access to the websites we want.
For the last 2 years since living in China, on recommendation from friends we signed up with Strong VPN. They have an assortment of packages depending on your needs. Their customer service is amazing and they have a live chat on their website, to handle any questions or small problems.
Catherine and I both purchased a package for a year, and we have been nothing but happy and pleased with their services. If you spend some time working or traveling abroad, check out the website and chose a package that suits your needs. Don’t feel like you have to become disconnected from the world, just because of limitations from where you are.
