Nishikura│Paris Sushi Date. What do you do after the most incredibly beautiful stroll through the streets of Paris at dusk? A date night, of course! After an action-packed day, Eli had fallen sleep in his stroller, so it was “just the two of us”. When little man goes to sleep, we often get to pretend that we are on a date. Now that he is getting bigger, he will often just sit at the table with us, playing with toys or watching something on one of our phones. Things are super chilled (most of the time), but it is still nice to feel like we are on a date every now and again. Since we were traveling for almost two months, we had to take as many of these “date opportunities” as we could.
There were plenty of food options, but
we I really wanted sushi! We eventually stopped somewhere, checked out the menu and then sat down for dinner. This restaurant seemed to be pretty popular. Despite the late hour, a number of people came in to get take-out, and others sat down to eat. We were seated right by the front door, so we had a nice little spot in the corner. Elijah slept right through our meal. Successful date!
Above, this is the road that our hotel was located on. We were shocked at how late the sky stayed light. We had only sat down to eat our sushi at about 10:30pm. When we walked back to our hotel, the sky was still not completely dark!
