Our Final Day of European Explorations │ Brugge
Ahhh, beautiful Brugge. This little city really did capture a part of my soul. We would return here in a heartbeat! Before releasing our stories from the Netherlands, we showed you a little bit from our visit to Brugge. If you missed those posts, you can link up to them here: Falling for Brugge │ Brugge at Night. The truth about our time in Brugge is that we spent most of our time just wandering around aimlessly. We didn’t climb any towers, visit any major sites, or do anything specifically touristy. We therefore don’t have any major areas/ sights to share with you, but we do have a few more pictures that we want to share. I guess, this would be considered a “Wandering” posts, which, as you know, I often do at the end of a country/ city.
The Title and The Missing Pictures
The title of this post is actually incorrect – but seeing as I had saved the draft like this, I decided to stick with it. This was our last day of European explorations before driving back to Paris. Once we got there, we returned our car and spent a couple more days in Paris. We got to do a number of special activities there, but oddly enough, I cannot find those pictures. I thought that perhaps we never offloaded them, but the really strange part is that we have the videos saved. This truly is a mystery to me. I will ask hubby to conduct an intensive re-search, but I THINK that they are gone.
Oh well… I guess we will just have to go back to PARIS! ?
Here are some pictures from our time spent wandering around this beautiful little city called Brugge. Given the choice between going to Brussels and Brugge, we HIGHLY recommend that you choose the latter. Of course, if you prefer bigger cities, and more of a hustle and bustle, then Brussels might be more your scene. For us, Brugge was simply enchanting!
We were sad to leave this gorgeous little city – in part because we had fallen in love with all of it’s charm, but also because we knew that we were heading back to France. We were officially on our way back to Paris, and our two-month European Road Trip would soon be over.
I am pretty sure that our pictures from our second visit to Paris are gone. What a mystery! If you don’t ever find them, this will be our last story from Europe. If they show up, then you can expect a few more stories from our final stop in France. Either way, we have many video clips and we will (hopefully) start composing some vacation videos too. I know, I know, those are a long time overdue, but with thousands of pictures to get through, I haven’t even had time to think about making videos. There will also be some informative, budget, and planning tips for Europe coming in the future.
Thank you so much for following us around Europe. We have loved sharing these stories with you!
This was a trip of a lifetime and we are so immensely thankful to have made this dream a reality.
