We woke up in the morning and ate some breakfast across the street.
Just down the street was St. George’s Cathedral. It was majestic. It opened in 1834 on Christmas Day. We even went inside to see all the stained glass windows. I remember thinking how impressed I was with the building and the history of it. The gothic style church is a classic cruciform building, with a courtyard garden that included a Labyrinth.
The pink flamingos were hopping around looking for some food.
After lunch, Catherine and I took a walk down to the end of the pier to walk off some of the lunch we just had. It was extremely windy that day. It made the walk cooler than we expected, but we made it all the way to the end. There were plenty of dodgy people that we had to walk by on the way. We waited out there a while for the riff-raff to disperse.
