We explored a lot of Shanghai on foot, however to get a different view, we also jumped on a Shanghai Sight-seeing Bus. The buses were very crowded, but as you can see above, we were very happy to get a seat on the top deck of the bus! 🙂

This is the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center.
The brown building in the middle of this picture is the Park Hotel.
This was once the tallest building in Asia (1934 -1958) and it is a famous hotel on Nanjing Road.
The building to the left is the Shimao International Plaza.
Raffles City is a famous skyscraper in Shanghai. It is 222m high and has 49 stories. Its base contains a shopping mall.
We spent some time wandering through the underground mall! 😉
The building to the right is know as Tomorrow Square. It is the 5th tallest building in Shanghai (55 floors high).
People’s Square – Lots of people relaxing in near the grass areas.
This is the site of Shanghai’s municipal government.

We started to realise that we were really thirsty and need a snack, so we made our way to a store and bought some goodies.
It was a beautiful day for sightseeing.
