While visiting Justin’s grandparents at the Lake House, in Hendricks, Justin and I ventured out to a nearby corn field. Why? Because playing in a corn field sounded like an awesome idea to me. So American! I had never seen a corn field this big, and I was excited to run into it. I would NEVER venture anywhere near this field of corn at night – especially not after all the horror movies that I have seen. Very stereotypical, I know, but really, who would walk into a corn field at night?!
It felt like we were in a sea of leaves. Once we entered and walked a bit, we could not see how far we were in, nor did we know which way we were going. It was odd feeling so disorientated, but I loved the mystery of it.
