Qingdao Number Two Bathing Beach, tucked away in beautiful Badaguan (八大关), occupies a small cove along the Qingdao Seaside Sightseeing Pathway. We took this path while on a school excursion – The Annual Grand Walk 2016. Huashi Villa (花石楼) and ZhongShan Park (中山公园) are with in walking distance of this beach, and we CANNOT wait to explore both of them during this wonderful season of spring. I am sure that we will be heading this way at least once a week for the next two months. We are definitely overflowing with ideas for our Mondays of sightseeing (Mondays with Mari).
After waking for about an hour an a half, we took our first break here, at No.2 Bathing Beach. The Grand high school students took part in a scavenger hunt, and the rest of us took a nice break. We walked along the beach, ate a few snacks, played with Elijah, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The last time that Justin and I visited this beach, we were not yet expecting Elijah so it was good to return to this place as a family of three.
We would have stayed at No.2 Bathing Beach much longer, but before we knew it, it was time to get moving again. This annual school event covers quite a large distance, so there wasn’t too much time to hang around. It was, however, as beautiful day so we kept wishing we could stop at each sight/ attraction that we passed along our coastal route. There really is a lot to see and do around Qingdao! You can get to this beach via taxi, or even by bus. Closest Bus Stop is Wu Sheng Guan, and you can take buses #26, #31, #202, #206, #214, #223, #228, #231, #304, #316, #317, #321, #501, #604, #801. After getting off walk South about 3 Blocks.
