A Quick Stop: Hoch Hin Auf
Months before we met The Klugs in Austria, McKenzie had told me about the view of the lake from the top of a nearby hill. Many times, she had told me that we would go up there together someday. Finally that day had come, but since Mckenzie was pregnant we decided to rather take the cars (plus kids and husbands). At the top of the hill is an activity zone called Hoch Hin Auf. They hold summer camps, and many regular events, for kids of all ages right there among the trees. We saw archery, sandpits, jungle gyms, and many paths roped out among the trees. Kids are harnessed into a safety-system, and get to walk from tree-to-tree with the help of guides. This looked like a really fun place for kids!
Since we were only there for a quick stop, we checked out the view and then let the kids play for a while.
The view of the Lake Faak, and the surrounding mountain ranges, was amazing!
For the very young kids, there was a miniature version of the tree walks. Even Eli wanted to give it a shot.
