Rhema’s Frozen Birthday Party. Last weekend we attended little Rhema’s third birthday. She wanted a Frozen-themed party so that was what her mom and dad organized for her. Party planning is a quite a bit tougher when you live in China, but thanks to online ordering, it is still possible. My good friend, Elisabeth (Rhema’s mommy), did a great job putting this party together for her daughter. We all had a lovely afternoon – both kids and adults – and we are thankful for these occasions, which make life abroad a little less “foreign”.
The venue where the party was held had a huge play area so after the usual birthday formalities – singing, cake, a terrifying clown, and gift opening – we let the little ones run off and have fun.
Above, When did Elijah become such a little man?
Below, a beautiful picture of Rhema with her mother and father.
While the kids were off playing, the dad’s sat down (wearing Frozen birthday hats at all!) and ate a couple slices of cake together.
I love this picture — Dad’s are just absolutely awesome!
A wonderful birthday party, good memories, and special moments spent with close friends and family.
Thank you to all involved, and happy 3rd birthday Rhema. It has been amazing watching you grow.
