|Thea (28 weeks) and Elijah (20 weeks)|
Today we have another update on Thea and Elijah. As most of you know, they are 8 weeks apart in age. That may not sound like much at all, but it was a huge difference when they were younger because Thea was two months old when Elijah was just a tiny newborn.
This past weekend, we went to visit our dear friends, and that meant it was time for another baby-size comparison. We have been amazed at how quickly they have both been growing, but boy oh boy, Elijah is catching up fast! He is now only 1.3 lbs behind little Miss Thea, and he is the same height as her. Strangely enough, after holding each of them, Eli definitely feels heavier so maybe his weight is distributed differently. Back at home, in Texas, Elijah has a cousin who was born in the same week as him, and we’d love to see him side-by-side with her, but sadly we’ll have to wait until next summer to do that.
This momma is really feeling the strain when Elijah is in his baby carrier for more than a couple of hours. No more long trips to the store with this little guy weighing down on my shoulders — Goodbye browsing!! We are going to need a good workout routine in place so that we can get stronger as he gets heavier.
Have a look at their side-by-side growth…
