We had an hour to walk around, and David and Jena decided to join us. It was incredibly cold but the snow was very exciting!! The path above was very slippery, so walking was better done by skidding on your feet.
We found these in a small souvenir shop .
IT WAS INCREDIBLE!
We found a number of outside food stalls, and some indoor ones with souvenirs. It must be really awesome to sit here in summer or autumn when the air is warm, and the surrounding hills are lush with green, browns, oranges, and reds.
Mrs. Um gave David her ladylike scarf, but that didn’t stop him feeling mucho with his new sword.
David and I shared some noodles. The broth is good for warming up in these cold temperatures!
The snow was falling quite a lot at this point (even though you can’t tell in the picture). I was so happy that Justin had a hard time getting me back inside the building. Apparently it was snack time **again**. I couldn’t think of anything else but staying outside in the falling snow. It makes me feel so happy inside. I feel filled with a childlike joy. Justin seems happy just standing there smiling as he watches me.
The cable car ascends at a relatively high speed and with some excitement. It runs even when it is raining or snowing, so we knew that despite the conditions outside, our safety was assured.
