This is Ken. We were really excited to go on a field trip!
Everybody follow Mr. Justin!!!
Yena, Linda and Dana are waiting for their turn. Dan and Brian are just behind them patiently waiting. I skipped ahead of all the children and found a lane in the middle to go down.
I decided to record my trip down the mountain. Hopefully I don’t lose my lunch….
It was actually quite fun. Even though I am an adult, I would have a great time coming here with my kids. I am pretty sure that Catherine would have a great time here. She is like a little kid when it comes to playing in the snow. Who can blame her? Growing up, she had no exposure to snow. It’s never too late, is it?
After going down the hill, I decided to go up the hill again, and I tried to round up all the adults that I could to go with!
Here is my second trip down the mountain.
The second time down, I was sliding next to one of the other teachers. Thanks for the boost Colin. It was quite fun! It was as much fun as you made it. I had expected it to be a lot less fun, so I was pleased. After two times down the mountain I was done…. Well, I thought so…
After watching me slide down the mountain, my youngest student, Emily wanted to go down a smaller hill with me. If you go to the middle hill, you can lock arms together and go down with your friends. So she brought her friend, Clara, with us and the 3 of us went down the mountain together. Clara is another young cutie, that is in Colin’s class. Colin is my roommate here at camp.
Everybody’s ready to go!
In case the snow tubing wasn’t enough fun, there were small little rides for the kids to play on.
Not sure what kind of ride this was……?
Around 5pm we headed back to the camp. Everyone piled back into the buses. I was exhausted. The kids made me run my butt off for 3 hours. However, I wasn’t as tired as some of the students….
This guy was lucky, he didn’t have anyone sitting next to him and could stretch out.
One, Two, Three students asleep here….
