Sunrise Stalkers│Last week, while heading out to Shilaoren to do a maternity shoot, I noticed a few other photographers heading towards the beach too. Many of them were already lined up along the shoreline as I stepped onto the sand. The sky and the water were both covered in mesmerizing shades of red, orange, yellow and blue. I stopped dead in my tracks, and went over to take a few pictures. I really love the one below. That moment when the first bit of sun peaks over the horizon – or the mountains, in this case – is one of my most favorite sights of all time. Hubby knows all too well that I could literally take hundreds of photographs of the sky during sunrise or sunset. Different angles, different shades…. every two minutes the sky looks like a new piece of art.
On this morning, nothing was going to distract the photographers amongst me on the beach. Nothing, except a couple of foreigners posing in the opposite direction. I had been walking up and down the beach with Zack and Katie, giving them instructions and then stepping away to get a good shot. When we got close to these men, they must have heard us speaking in English because suddenly a few of them turned away from the rising sun, and starting taking pictures of Zack and Katie. Not at all phased, they continued to stand in the positions I had asked for. They are certainly used to this attention – which is good, because when baby comes, they are bound to be get a WHOLE LOT MORE!
I love the above photo.
A good depiction of Life in China!
