Park City is a town in Summit county in the U.S. State of Utah. The city is 32 miles southeast of downtown Salt Lake City, and the population is about 8000. On average, the tourist population greatly exceeds the number of permanent residents. My brother and Maxine lived in this city together a few years ago.
In 2008, Park City was named one of the 20 Prettiest Towns in the US by Forbes Traveler Magazine. In 2011, the town was awarded a Gold-level Ride Centre for its mountain bike trails, amenities and community. It continues to be published in the top ski, cycling and adventure magazines across the world.
There had been a fire in the area, so visibility apparently was not as clear as usual.
Skipping the trail path.
At the top of the trail stands a flag pole. We put down a blanket and rested here for a while.
After listening to stories of how there were Moose families all over these hill, I was a little nervous while we made our way down the path. We went down the hill pretty quickly, but the dark made our journey home a little more challenging!
Near the foot of the hill.
We like the outdoor exercise opportunities here in Utah.
