Today, another post from the brother’s wedding, which took place last month in Medora, North Dakota. While the bride, and “her girls”, got ready for the special event at a hotel close-by to where the ceremony would be held, the groom, and “his boys” got dressed at home. There would be no pictures of them getting ready, so I snapped a few pre-wedding pictures. The difference between the way that guys and girls get ready it absolutely hilarious – I was happy to have been at the house, with my brother, while him and his closest friends prepared for the wedding. There was much laughter and silliness, and then they were off to take some pictures with the professional photographer, at a location nearby (well, everything is nearby in Medora!).
Elijah sat on the floor of my brother’s bedroom as his uncle got ready. It was sweet!
Those two are definitely going to be close one day.
A family member had been appointed to drop off Subway sandwiches and cookies for those at the house. Actually, I think the food was specifically for the groomsmen, but my cousin and I were there too, with our sons, and my brother insisted that we eat as well. It was a busy time, but it was nice to hang out with the guys and have a laugh.
When everyone was dressed, there was some time for a quick drink and a couple more silly photos.
Boys will be boys!
