The Face of Belopo│Earlier this month I did a post, entitled Belopo Boy, about a summer modeling job that Eli and I did. Belopo makes cribs, baby furniture, bedding and and so on. We modeled for them when Eli was about six months old, and then again at the beginning of July. On our third meeting with this company, I did an interview with the owner. She had framed pictures from their catalogue on the table at the interview…. and guess who was in them? That’s right – our sweet little boy at only six months old. I was so surprised . I asked why she had them on display, and she pulled out a bag of catalogues. Eli’s face was right on the front of all of them!
It was so crazy to find out that since Eli’s first job his face has been on all of the merchandise catalogues for Belopo. How amazing to see how much he has changed since then! He modeled the same cribs at the beginning of July, but this time we did mostly the toddler style. I distinctly remember that moment when he started gnawing on the side of the crib – pictured above – and the photographer leaned in to take the picture. Clearly that was the money shot!
Below, some other images from the catalogue.
Who knows how much longer Eli will be “the face of Belopo”, but now I have a couple of copies of these catalogues and I get to look about at these pictures whenever I want.
