We strolled up and down White Beach many times during our stay on Boracay Island, but we almost always stopped for drinks, food, or to sit down and relax, so we hardly ever walked the full length of the beach on one day. When we are traveling, Justin likes to looks up the most popular/ recommended spots to eat at and visit. The Sunny Side Cafe was ranked #1 out of the 213 restaurants on Boracay on Trip Advisor. One afternoon, after we had spent way too much time in the sun (notice our sunburns) we went off walking to find the cafe that he had read had some of the best food on the island. We walked for quite some time, and when we finally arrived at The Sunny Side Cafe, they were just closing. What a bummer! We were so looking forward to enjoying the wonderful view of the beach while chowing down on some raved about food. I went inside the hotel next door to use the restroom, and when I returned Justin told me that the Cafe was going to stay open so that we could have dinner. Despite feeling very grateful, I was a little weary since I didn’t want to be rushed. We had walked for quite some time, and we were hungry, so we decided to stay anyway. I have to say that I am so happy that we did. The atmosphere, food, service and view from The sunny Side Cafe, are all amazing! We loved it so much that we returned a couple of days later to take some of our friends.
