The Westby’s Leaving Shoot: Beach
Today – Part II of the Westby’s Leaving Shoot! **If you missed Part I, link up to that here: The Westby’s Leaving Shoot: Sculpture Park.** I had so much fun taking pictures of these love birds, that I had a hard time narrowing down the images. Their love is so tangible – and their bond so sweet. It is always a pleasure to photograph people who are having such a good time, that they don’t need to be given much direction at all.
As I sit and type this, my husband is on his way to the Westby’s to pick up some lamps and rugs. This is the life of an expat. We end up with a home full of things that once belonged to numerous friends. It is unique, and quite special – each item has a story.
I’ve been watching their countdown on Facebook. This is their last week in a city that has been home for six years. When we leave Qingdao, we will probably be at about the same amount of years. I see their “last BBQ”, “last FuShan hike”, and so on… and I think, WOW, one day we will leave Qingdao too. It truly is a HUGE mixed bag of emotions living this way!
Here are Amy and Ben’s beach pictures…
