Ladies and Gentleman,
THE TIME HAS COME!!
(Well, we hope that this is it and not a false alarm).
Our Baby is On The Way!!
[I have pre-written this post in anticipation for the day that we are in fact grabbing our last few items and throwing them into our hospital bag, then heading out to the hospital. Even though that day could possibly be weeks away (oh my gosh, please no!), I still get butterflies in my stomach writing this because the truth is that it could be ANY DAY now! Below I have put some questions that either Justin or I can fill out in-between trying to grab our necessities, calling family in our home countries, notifying our friends here, and getting out the front door.]
Why are we heading to the hospital now?
MY WATER JUST BROKE!!!!
How is mommy feeling?
I don’t know… haha.
Ummm, waves of pain. Excitement. A little scared.
How is daddy feeling?
He’s getting our stuff together… he looks focused!!
When will you hear more?
WE DON’T KNOW! We are unsure of the internet situation at the Chinese hospital, but we are praying that there will be wifi in our room so that we can get online on soon to share the news of Eli’s arrival with you.
Please pray for…
Pray for a kind doctor, midwife and nurses. Pray for peace and calmness for both of us. Pray that everything goes smoothly, and even though it might not go according to plan that it goes well. Pray for understanding of cultural differences and minimal language-gap problems. Most of all pray for a happy experience!!!
We will send out another post as soon as we can.
Thank you for all the love and support!!!!!
