VLOG: FuShan and Tearoom.│Yesterday morning Elijah and I met some ladies for a hike up the northern side of FuShan. [In Mandarin, this area is called “FuShan Ho”.] I took a few pictures, and I’ll post those in another update. Until you all get used to the Youtube Channel situation, we will be adding the videos to blog posts. That way you will know how to access them. If you subscribe to our Youtube Channel, you will see when we add new vlogs. I do, however, know that some of you aren’t very tech-savvy, so we don’t mind posting the videos to the blog too – if that’s what you need.
We started yesterday’s hike on Yinchuan Lu, right across the road from the complex where we used to live. Boy oh boy… the path up the mountain on that side has changed DRAMATICALLY over the last year. Where there used to be just a dirt trail, there is now a fancy road, with a man-made waterfall, grassy areas, and even tennis courts! Qingdao is stepping it up! Sadly this means they might start charging for people to hike up FuShan in the future, so we better get as many free hikes in as we can!
After the hike we went to a beautiful Chinese restaurant and tearoom. I think you will enjoy the video clips from lunch. Our food was brought to us alive, and then steamed at our table. We were all quite surprised!
ENJOY THE VLOG!
