Wandering │ Bratislava, Slovakia
Ladies and Gentleman, today we present a “wandering” post. By now, you probably know what these posts mean. We have come to the end of our stories on this particular city/ country. We were only able to visit one of the main city’s in Slovakia, but this one city was intriguing and made us wish that we could have explored the rest of this Eastern European beauty. For a glimpse at some of the other wonders that this country holds, have a look at this article: Slovakia – a Country Rich in World, Cultural, and Natural heritage.
“Bratislava doesn’t provoke admiring swoons; it intrigues. In the midst of Slovakia’s capital, a flying saucer hovers above forest-fringed riverbanks. Its castle presides over a pastel-hued old town, but a concrete jungle looms behind. Despite the march of modernism, Bratislava is green. It banks the Danube River, by the Austrian border, and its hilly parks are threaded with hiking and biking trails.” – Lonely Planet
