“We Balling” – This morning Elijah did another modeling job. I don’t post about all of them these days since there isn’t always much to say, but I have to throw in a word or two about today’s experience. When it comes to modeling clothes, I don’t know what to expect lately. Some days Elijah is ready and willing, and other days a shoot like this can be complete torture. This morning we got lucky because Elijah basically got to be his crazy-cute self in a ball-pit for about two hours. Clearly these photos are not that great quality (I took them with my phone from a big screen the photographer was operating his camera through), but you get the picture – Eli had a ball.
Haha, I love all the “ball” puns today.
Here’s a funny story that I definitely wish I had been able to catch on video…
Shortly after arriving at the studio this morning, Eli ran over to the ball-pit and jumped right in. When the initial excitement wore off, he started looking around the studio at things positioned around the room. He loves plugs, wires and tools (perhaps we have a future electrician/ engineer on our hands?!) so he ran over to pick up a wire which was lying next to a manikin. I followed him to ensure that he didn’t electrocute himself, or damage something expensive. Standing next to the manikin and said, “Say hello to the man”. Eli rubbed the manikin’s leg, smiled and started shouting “da di dada daddy” (in the same cute way that he only does at home).
Every single person there died laughing, and for the rest of the morning, we used “daddy” as a prop to make Elijah smile.
Above, Elijah smiling at “daddy”.
This kid – what an entertainer!
