How far along? 37 weeks (Eli is now considered full term so he can safely be born at any time from now on without being considered a preemie!!)
Sleep: Awesome as always. Taking some great afternoon naps where I go into detailed dreams (about running, lol) and wake up refreshed and energised! It’s a great feeling.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing!
Gender: We have named our sweet little boy Elijah James.
Baby this week – YAY – Baby Eli has reached full term!! He is the size of a winter melon. Our son probably measures at just over 19 inches long, and weighs about 6.3 pounds, depending on how big little guy will be. He’s gaining about 1/2 ounce each day, and because he’s running out of room in my uterus, he mostly stretches and wiggles, instead of delivering big kicks. Bring on the diapers – baby boy is getting his first sticky poop (called meconium) ready for his first diaper. He’s also practicing some skills: inhaling, exhaling, sucking, gripping and blinking. He is head down, with his butt on my right-side and knees/ feet on my left. We can’t wait to see how cute this little man is!!!
