Today we were thrilled to find a package waiting for us at school. It arrived all the way from the UK, and it was lovingly sent by our good old South African friends Rudi and Bronwyn. They live in London, and are able to make trips to the South African store, so they sent some of my favourite sweets and a bottle of Salt&Vinegar Spice (hhhmmm… I love it). We received a package from Rudi and Bronwyn in December, but today’s delivery was special because I was in desperate need of bras that fit! I really do appreciate that Bronwyn helped out by finding me something comfortable to wear!! If only I was able to find undergarments that fit me over here in China. Who knows what I will do when I start breast-feeding and I need even bigger bras. Thankfully we have loving friends and family scattered across the globe that send us incredibly helpful parcels, such as this one! I’m in boobie-heaven! Thank you Rudi and Bronwyn!!!
Baby E got some gifts too – seven very cute baby-grows with little bears, lions, and hedgehogs on them! Wow, baby clothes make me melt – They are just so adorable! These are 0-3 month ones and they will be prefect for baby since he will be born in summer. I can’t wait to post some pictures of him wearing these.
Tomorrow is Women’s Day in China, and therefore the school blessed us with even more gifts. All the female teachers received two of these 10-pack toilet papers and a large bottle of laundry detergent. These may seem like silly gifts, but I really do appreciate things like this because they are essentials — and who doesn’t use toilet paper and laundry detergent! These are way better than receiving gifts that you don’t want/ need.
